Yep, there is some nice Ethiopian jazz. I think ska has its roots in Ethiopian music, btw, you'll know what I mean when you hear it. There are some good rock cafes, but I don't remember the name. I'm more into house and techno, but I can settle down for hiphop and rnb, which I luckily also found in Addis.

You mean Ebola is a great whiter lie like HIV or Area 51?

Ignorance as in: There have been more ebola reports in Europe and the US than in Ethiopia. Failing to know this is because of ignorance. Ignorance: not being well informed.

I will spend approx 2 weeks in Ethiopia.
and ~ 1.5 weeks in Tanzania (mostly on the mountain)
Total of 3.5 weeks. Wish I had extra week but likely not due to other commitments...well this is life.

How is it there? How does your experience compare to Zolo's?

RE: The Call to Mama Africa 2015
@Rick91 so far it's uneventful. The food is great and the people are extremely friendly which is a nice change after being in EE but I have not gone out yet at night. My luggage got held up, it's coming in tomorrow morning. This is my third night here but I have no change of clothes or contact lenses so it kills the vibe.

Yesterday there were few people in the streets and most shops were closed due to it being a Muslim holiday and today same story due to it being Sun.

I also find it to be very touristic. I've seen a ton of backpackers so far. Ethiopia is not so off the grid as when Nomad first visited.
