I am moving to Vietnam
Ive decided I am gonna move to Vietnam for 1-2 years. I just arrived back in the states and will hangout / visit family and friends until December. Then I will go back to Korea for roughly 6 months until Summer or start of Fall. At which point I am moving to Vietnam.

In my opinion, Vietnamese woman make some of the best if not the best gf / wife material in the world. They are attractive, very family oriented, loyal, and traditional. Which I hope to find. My 20's and winding down. Time to retire the traveling manwhore lol.

Anyways, I have looked into learning Vietnamese. Holy shit, I have yet to find any good source for learning this language.

From personal experience from living in Asia the past x number of years, Vietnamese are about as loyal a woman as you are gonna find. There are tons of them in Korea. So long as you treat them well, you generally are not gonna have to worry about them cheating or leaving you. The family unit is a Vietnamese woman's most important thing. Divorcing and cheating are looked down on and will bring shame on the family.

Ofcourse, there are always exceptions to the rules.

Id wager your friend was dealing with hookers, party girls, Westernized girls, and or foreign groupies. Def not a traditional, conservative, virgin from the province.

Learning Vietnamese looks like a bitch with the reliance on tonage and pronunciation.

Bold move.

I might join there. Though I aint looking for a wife!Big Grin

I wouldn't bother learning Vietnamese. It's like Thai on steroids. Viet people apparently don't expect Westerners to learn the lingo.

But I did see an American guy in his 20s who spoke it pretty fluently. Can't find the interview.

Yea as with anything in life you cant sit around hoping shit will happen or change. You gotta grab life by the balls and make shit happen.

I want to learn Vietnamese atleast basic conversational as to not limit myself in the woman department.

Dash I would've pegged you as going to Colombia for the end game.

Whats the cost of living in Nam vs. Teaching pay?

Colombian women are only good for partying and fucking, not wifing.

Cost of living is pretty cheap from what I can tell. Can get a small place for 250-300 bucks. Maybe cheaper if you live out of the main areas. Food is cheap so long as you dont eat at Western joints. Same goes with partying. As for pay, it varies depending on the type of job you have, the hours you work, etc. But id peg it at 800-1,800 for teaching English. I am sure International Schools pay more.

No, original plan was to go to the Gulf and stack paper. However, if I do that I can forget settling down anytime soon. I need to take 1 - 2 years and work on looking for a wife and family. Bout to be 30, not wanting to be having kids much past 35 years old.

Thus, I need to force the issue and make things happen.

Korea has nothing to do with anything.
