Freetown, Sierra Leone: updates?
Zolo is talking about 20 euro rooms, they don't exist at all on booking.com, in fact they are very expensive.

Who knows some good hotels in the party area for decent prices?

Any info on good clubs?

RE: Freetown, Sierra Leone: updates?
Shit has turned upside down in Freetown. I got an email the other day saying they practically bulldozed most of Aberdeen now. It's really hard to get any info from there. I'd love to give you more info but I burned too many bridges there.

PS- As you know, most cheap spots in such a place would never even consider the likes of booking.com. It's a phone line job.

The place we stayed (we just asked around) was called Titi's or Tata's or something. 20 a night per person. So maybe 40 for a single. You HAVE to stay by Lumley beach, but is certaintly isn't cheap for a bed.

I know you talked about you'd consider buying something there .. with all the recent changes, would it still be a good place to live as an expat? I'm having an opportunity for a new company, can't discuss detailes, but they say there are a lot of options open, especially in Africa.

Why do these countries make things so expensive for tourists. Are they morons? Like being cheap is usually the one for sure upside of visiting a shithole.

Nesico, did you hear anything more about SL? I might be there for work over the summer.
